A remarkable evening hearing the new orchestration of my PHOENIX SONG with the Philadelphia Orchestra, the ANNA Crusis Feminist Choir, Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus, and Philadelphia Voices of Pride, conducted by Marin Alsop, in the Kimmel Center’s Verizon Hall. Phoenix Song was written on a text by Scott Lounsbury after the Pulse mass shooting tragedy in Orlando in 2016. June 2023.
